23 April 2019- According to police, a Jimmy John’s employee was stabbed in the neck by a coworker. He was treated for his wounds at the scene by University Park paramedics, and was in stable condition when he was transported to Baylor Medical Center.

15 October 2017- SMU’s Meadows Museum debuts works by Picasso and Rivera in their series INsights & OUTlooks, which involves people from all artistic backgrounds and caters to the seeing impaired through the use of innovative teaching aids.
Guatemalan art exhibit opens in Pollock Gallery
10 September 2017- SMU’s Polluck Gallery debuts an exhibition that features the work of 11 young Guatemalan artists who created pieces that comment on personal, political, and social acts of violence that they have experienced.
